Summer is here, and that means it’s time to finally wear those awesome shorts, tank tops, sundresses, and t-shirts. But, in order to keep yourself presentable, and protected, it’s important to follow some fashion rules and tips for warm and sunny weather. 1) Opt for Lightweight Fabrics and Clothes

This is crucial as it will allow you to feel more comfortable while working or running errands during the summer. So if you opt for light fabrics such as lighter versions of cotton, that will make the summer much more bearable, especially during the heavy heatwaves. In order to choose the best fabrics, it’s important to get familiar with their characteristics first. So, if you can see through the fabric, then it’s a good sign that it will work for you. Also, make sure to check the way fabrics feel on your skin, as that will be an important indicator of its suitability. 

 

2) Breathable Fabrics are the Best for Hot Summer Days 

If you want to have a fun and active summer, then it’s best to opt for clothes that are made of breathable fabrics. Since people maintain a cool body temperature by perspiring heat away from the body. Also, it is necessary to allow for air circulation in order to keep the body temperature cooler. Fabrics that are breathable should maximize the flow of air, especially in hot climates. This is due to the fact that fabrics that trap moisture tend to cause unpleasant odors as well. On the other hand, synthetics such as polyester may cause excessive sweating, which is something that should be avoided during very hot weather.

Working out during summer can be a great way to shed those pounds in a healthy way. However, whether you’re sticking to an air-conditioned gym or you want to try some outdoor exercises, it’s important to wear the right types of clothes, especially if you’re female. Women tend to be more sensitive to harsh sun, mainly when that’s combined with more intense workouts. In that case, it’s essential to opt for quality women’s activewear. This type of clothing is excellent not only for exercising but also for a light morning walk when the temperatures are easier to bear. Being on the move during the summer is a great way to boost your self-confidence, as long as you wear the right type of active clothing and protect yourself from the sun.

6) Always Wear SPF


Sunscreen should be a crucial part of your beauty/fashion routine. When it comes to summer, it’s essential to wear it every time you’re spending time outdoors. Also, make sure to get sunscreen with an SPF high enough to keep you protected at all times. You need to protect your skin from the harsh sun, in order to prevent issues such as skin cancer, dark spots, and premature aging. The easiest way to wear sunscreen regularly is to always have a bottle/tube of sunscreen with you. In case you plan to swim, then be sure to apply sunscreen that is waterproof as well.

7) Opt for Lighter Colors 

Sure, black and cherry red are alluring and mysterious colors that can make you look more attractive. Yet, they’re not the best choice for hot sunny weather, as they tend to absorb the heat. Lighter colors such as white, mint green, and baby blue are a safer choice; they tend to reflect the sunlight, thus making you sweat less in the process. So pastel and light neutral colors are your best bet if you want to keep your body temperature cool. Darker colors are more suitable for evening outfits, or even better, for winter days. The last thing you need is to feel hot, on an already hot summer day.

However, it’s crucial to keep yourself safe from harmful UVA and UVB lights, so make sure to wear proper clothing that will help you stay protected. Also, activewear, together with SPF and accessories such as hats and sunglasses, will keep you both stylish and safe from the sun, so feel free to wear them every time you’re spending time outside. With these tips, you’ll look fashionable even in the warmest and sunniest weather.
